Genshin Impact is a free-to-play game, as you rarely strike. Honestly, there was probably no free-to-play game before, which is like Genshin Impact (not that we knew, at least). It is not a MMO, as you would think at first glance, but first and foremost a single player adventure, an Open World Game à la The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with a story, side quests, small puzzles in the game world and Meanwhile more. Separate siblings
In Genshin Impact you play a traveler. So you will be called from all NPCs, but you give your character but a name. However, you do not create a hero, but decide to start between a male and a female protagonist. The two are siblings that fight in the introsenequence against a bad goddess. In the middle, the action pauses, you choose one of the two figures and each other is then captured by the Schurkin, while you are banished to a foreign world.
That world proves to be Teyvat, which includes seven regions. Each is ruled by a God, a so-called architecture, and is assigned to one of the seven elements: fire, water, ice, lightning, wind, earth and nature. In the release version of Genshin Impact, however, only two regions are included: you start in Mondstadt, the land of the wind, and then your way leads you into the Chinese-inspired Liyue. The other lands will be added with updates and then the story will be expanded.
In Gensin Impact is a huge world
Genshin Impact is a role-playing game in an open world. The areas are very spacious and behind each corner awaits you an enemy camp, a box to the lote, a small puzzle, an elitegerman or maybe a side quest or an event. There are still collection objects and resources. There is much to discover and get. But in addition, Genshin Impact also offers a major story with sets of dialogues and intermediate sequences. There are no differences from full price singleplayer RPGs.
A hero is not enough
The peculiarity of Genshin Impact is that you not only play your main character. There are numerous playable heroes, from which you compile a four-person team. In the fight you always control one of them, but you can change your character at any time. That's important, because most damage will you cause when you combine the different elements. If you first do an opponent with a water attack wet, then change to an ice hero and sets its elemental ability, you freeze your enemy, so he can not do anything for a short time. Some stretches do not switch in the course of history, but most of them get you just pray. This means the Gacha system of the game. You need a specific currency, veteran to buy wishes. Multiplayer with limits
Genshin Impact is, as already mentioned, primarily a single player title, but there is also a co-op mode. Thanks to which you can explore the world together with up to three friends and play dungeons. However, you turn the multiplayer free after a few hours and there are also some restrictions. So you can not play Story quests with your friends.
