Fortnite: All competitions of season 8, with FNCS, cash CUPS and Dreamhack

While the Fortnite Champion Series of season 7 has just finished, Epic Games has already revealed the dates for the next season. Before the final event, which will take place on Sunday, September 12 at 10 p.m., the company has appeared again to reveal its plans for future competitions: such as FNCS, Dreamhack or Cash Cups ... EVERYTHING!

Season 8 of Arena Pre-season

A sand preseason will be retropped in season 8. The new elements and functions will be monitored, the existing elements will be re-evaluated and the old ones will be re-examined to see if they can return to the booty of the competition. Arena achievement of season 7 will not restart until September 28 . For players to try and play seasonal changes, a pre-season heating tournament will be added. It will simulate a rating of the FNCS and will take place on the weekend of September 24 to 26.

Beginning of FNCS season 8

Ratings (October 15-17 and October 22-24)

The number of classifieds has been reduced while the number of equipment that is classified directly for the final has been increased. From now on, the first 5 teams (instead of the previous 3) of each classification will pass the semifinal to go directly to the final of the FNCS.

For us this is a major change, since clearly there is a fall in scores in the classification classification of the fifth team. By reducing the number of classifieds, we also allow the best teams to qualify directly for the final, do not miss the best of the competition for too long. You also need a shorter FNCS season to make room for End of New Year FNCs and other tournaments.

Semifinal (October 28 and 29)

The semifinal of the FNCS will also be a little different this season. Now only the best 66 teams (instead of 99) will be selected at serial points (2 series) for each region. Four parties will be held on day 1 for each series. The four best teams in each series at the end of day 1 will advance to the final. The other teams in each series will be placed in the day 2 series depending on their performance.

On the day 2 of the semifinal it will work as well as the eliminatory return of previous seasons. There will be 6 games for each series (12 in total). The winners of each game will advance to the final.

Taking Over the Game (Deadman Season 2) During the semifinals, all participating teams have the opportunity to win! The map and the important locations in dispute will dynamically increase with the classification of each team after each match, creating a natural crescendo for players and fans alike. Decisions about when teams start the game will be more important for this new semifinal.

Final (October 30 and 31)

The final of the FNCS will remain the same of all this year, with a small modification. There will always be two days of competition with 6 games each. At the end of the day 2, the best team will win the FNCS. However, unlike the finals of the previous FNCs, the three best teams in each region will not automatically advance at the following FNCs. A new year means a new beginning for all.

FNCS Grand Royale

The FNCS Grand Royale of $ 5 million will be held for two weeks from November 12, only 2 weeks after the FNCS FINS of the season 8. Any eligible player who has participated in a RAND of FNCS in a single room (Round 4 of an FNCS, semifinal or final classification) This year can create a trio for the event. More information about the rules and the format will be communicated later in the season.

Sand change

EPIC has noticed that changes in the scoring system have allowed players to reach the champion league even faster. As the Champions League serves as a qualifier for most of our competitive events, achieving it should be more valuable. Then some changes will be made during this season so that it is more demanding to reach the Champion League. In the same way, a filling option must be added for the sand in season 8, without having an added date yet.

Other competitions

The rhythm of the Cash Cums and Temporary Mode tournaments will remain the same in season 8. The Trio Cash CUPS and TRIO SUCCESS CUPS will be held on Monday, the Duo Success Cups on Friday and the only cash CASH on Sundays, with fashion Temporary tournaments scattered all over the place. Dreamhack Extra Cash Cashes are scheduled for October 6, on November 3 and December 1. Console only events
